New Graduate Minors
May 09, 2017
This fall, Drexel University’s Graduate College instituted the option for graduate students to minor in academic programs other than their primary course of study, allowing for strong interdisciplinary connections that not only kick-start but elevate careers long after graduating. With just twelve credits, enrolled graduate students can elect to minor in either of our Arts Administration and Museum Leadership programs, creating a distinct but encompassing skillset.
The possibilities for cross disciplinary collaboration are endless; candidates coming from the LeBow College of Business might seek high level administrative careers in the creative and media arts; Biological Sciences or Archival Studies students who are eager for a career in a science or technology museum might participate in the Museum Leadership program, while graduate students from the School of Education seeking experiences in continuing education or public programming in a museum setting might do the same.
